The three songs by Northern Lighthouse from this split album with vrcvs (Filippo Rieder) have been recorded between 2020 and 2021. These explore the voyage between memories and places, from past to present.

Wallsend is named after a town in North-East of England at the end of Hadrian's Wall. Its economy was driven by shipbuilding and coal mining, but not much of this past remains today. That northern coast is where the Northern Lighthouse project began.

Out-Burst is the inner catharsis of the many non-voyages during the pandemic. Screaming modular synthesizer and sounds of the neighborhood recorded through the window represent the exasperating period of isolation.

Proiettili-Ricordi ("Bullets-Memories") is a memory of several hiking trips around Fanano, a small town in the mountains of northern Italy. The main church whose bells can be heard in the track, still has bullet holes on its facade since the end of the II World War.

All these 3 tracks are specific times and places, three personal experiences. The songs were all recorded using hardware keyboard synthesizers, guitar pedals, tapes, field recordings and a modular synthesizer.
